This policy explains how Wedding Sax DJ LLC DBA The Luxury Musician ("we", "us") handles your information when you visit these pages, sign up to watch our free training or book a call with our team.
Information we collect
What you give us
- Your first and last name, email address, mobile number and Instagram handle.
- If you book a call, the details you enter in our booking calendar and the time you choose.
What we collect automatically
- The page you signed up on, the time you signed up and how much of the training video you have watched.
- Details from the link you arrived through, such as the ad or campaign (UTM tags and Facebook click ID).
- If cookies are on, the data Meta Pixel collects, described under Cookies.
- Your IP address and browser details, which the services that deliver this page receive when it loads.
What we may obtain about you
As you authorize on the sign-up form, we may obtain a soft consumer credit report about you. See Soft credit reports.
How we use your information
- To give you access to the training video and arrange and prepare for your strategy call.
- To send you emails and text messages about our training, coaching programs and related offers.
- To answer you when you contact us.
- To assess financial suitability if you are interested in buying our services.
- To measure and improve our ads and this page.
- To keep our services secure and meet our legal obligations.
Emails and text messages
By signing up, you agree to receive emails and text messages from us, including messages sent using automated technology. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.
- To stop texts: reply STOP. For help, reply HELP.
- To stop emails: use the unsubscribe link in any email.
We do not sell your mobile number or text-message consent, or share them with third parties for their own marketing. We share them only with the service providers that help us send messages.
Soft credit reports
By signing up, you authorize us to obtain a soft consumer credit report about you through Charlie AI and BuyerIQ. We use it to assess your financial suitability in connection with your interest in buying Luxury Musician services. To do this, we share the information needed with those companies and receive the resulting report information.
A soft inquiry does not affect your credit score. You can ask us which reporting company supplied any report we received about you. You can also dispute inaccurate information with that company.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it with:
- GoHighLevel: our customer database and our email and text messaging system, along with the carriers that deliver messages.
- Charlie AI and BuyerIQ: for the soft credit reports described above.
- Vimeo: to play the training and pre-call videos.
- iClosed: to schedule your call.
- Meta: for advertising measurement, if cookies are on.
- Netlify and Google: to host these pages, load their fonts and check that your email's domain can receive mail. For that check, Google receives the part of your email address after the @ and your IP address, not the full address.
- Authorities or professional advisers: when the law requires it or when needed to protect our rights.
- A buyer or successor: if our business is sold or reorganized.
Vimeo's video player and iClosed's booking calendar each have their own privacy policy, which applies when you use them.
Cookies
We use Meta Pixel, which sets cookies, to see which ads lead to visits, sign-ups and booked calls and to help show relevant ads, including to people who have visited these pages. Meta may combine this data with what it already holds about you.
If you are in the UK or Europe, based on your device's time zone, Meta Pixel stays off until you click Accept. Elsewhere it runs unless you click Decline.
We also store in your browser your cookie choice, the details you signed up with (so you don't have to enter them again to watch or book), how far you have watched each video and your pre-call checklist. These are not used for advertising.
You can change your choice at any time in Cookie settings.
How long we keep information
We keep your information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or for as long as the law requires. If you opt out of messages, we keep a record of that so we can respect your choice.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access a copy of your information.
- Correct or delete it.
- Object to or restrict how we use it, including for direct marketing.
- Receive it in a portable format.
- Withdraw your consent at any time. This does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
To use these rights, email us at the address below. We will not treat you differently for doing so.
UK and Europe
We rely on your consent for marketing messages, Meta Pixel and credit reports. We rely on our legitimate interests for running and securing our services, and on legal obligations where they apply. You can complain to your local data protection authority, which is the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK.
California and other US states
Some state laws treat advertising cookies such as Meta Pixel as "sharing" personal information, even without payment. To opt out, click Decline in Cookie settings.
International transfers
We and many of our service providers operate in the United States, so your information may be processed there or in other countries with different data protection laws. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no website or system is completely secure.
Children
These pages and our programs are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we will delete their information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and change the effective date above.
